I worked as an editorial design intern for Colorado State University’s student run newspaper and magazine. While there I worked with editors, reporters and photographers in teams large and small to conceptualize, layout, design and finalize both publications. As a editorial designer I created pages and graphics under strict design guidelines and intense deadlines.

As a concept artist I illustrated characters, vehicles, objects and terrain/environment and interface. I worked alongside the lead designer and writer in order to conceptualize the overall feel of the game. My duties as Art Lead also included recruiting and leading a team of 3-4 artists.

I supervised students using the Colorado State Graphics Lab for an hour a day, three to five days a week. My duties as a lab supervisor included troubleshooting computer and printer problems, helping tutor design students in CS3 and general upkeep or the lab.
